Tambo municipality is located in the south-western part of Colombia and is considered the agricultural pantry for the Cauca department and Popayan metropolitan area.

Our good friends at Cofi Net have been working with coffee farmers from this region since 2018. They have made an impact in this region as they have been the first to pay above the coffee market price based on quality. Producers in this area are very small and so is their production - they only grow Castillo and own less than 1-hectare sized farms.

We are loving this delicious and versatile coffee. It displays notes of chocolate, nutmeg, has a medium body finishing with some citrus and floral notes.

Roasted with versatility in mind so it can be enjoyed either as a super tasty black or it is amazing through milk!
