ETHIOPIA YIRGACHEFFE - IDIDO - GR1 - FILTER

$22.00

Country of Origin: Ethiopia

Region: Oromia

Altitude: 1850-2100m ASL

Varietal: Heirloom Varietals

Process: Anaerobic (15 day fermentation)

Produced on the region of Gedio, this small 150 acre farm grows some spectacular coffee from its deep red soil. Its cherries are sorted with great care and stored in vacuum sealed bags, depriving it of oxygen for a period of 15 days. This method, while complex, works to highlight the notes of fruitiness and fresh sweetness.

This delicious cup is incredibly well balanced. Soft notes of Rhubarb sweetness and raspberry acidity throughout. Its delicate tea like body has notes of hazelnut to finish. Best suited to a slow filter style brew, this is a coffee to be savoured.
