Since the early 1900s, the Barbosa family has been working the land in Cerrado Mineiro, mastering the art and science of coffee growing. Sergio Ricardo Barbosa, the current owner-operator of the Joia Rara estate, with the help of his family, has refined the farms attention one consistency and specialty coffee. The farm's literal translation is 'Rare Jewel,' and the coffee it produces represents this perfectly.
