This coffee was grown with incredible attention and pride, by Mekuria Mergia and their family, in the Guji region. They are responsible for the entire process from planting to final harvest, hand-picking with care to ensure only perfectly mature cherries make it through to be processed at the Benti Nenka washing station. Which is shared with only 700 other smallhold farmers in the region.

Mekuria uses the semi-forest style landscape on the farm to bring nutrients back into the soil, creating a healthy ecosystem for the coffee plants to thrive, year after year.
